Where do u use the slot machines I have bein just using the golden key glitch very easy and helpful was wandering is it only purple weapons u get or do u get better ones the higher your level no

Chest always has purple rare weapons scaled to your level, it can produce some pink mods also.

Wish I had this hint earlier.

I noticed I was on the tracks. Still followed them a bit. Right as I asked "Wait, is there actually a train", I got hit.

awesome! I'm not the only one! I had the same moment of realization too. It was pretty classic, felt like a BennyHill or Mr Bean moment (there's my moment of classic nostalgia).

Heya, welcome to the site! Please do tell what is wrong. I haven't tried the glitch yet so I guess I wouldn't know.

I would think that what Blut is saying the gear is levelled to the guest who opened the chest, normally a low level. You can make them a high level later in playthrough 2 by leaving them behind and do the missions they will auto level up then.

The best way is to use the USB save that will open the chest at your level always, tbh the stuff in the chest is good for starting out for later in the game they will be absolutely useless. On the 2 run you will need legendary orange gear maybe some purple will help but oranges will be required for Terra.

For those of you who do not know Blut is a friend of mine from playing Borderlands 1. He had an armory set up with the best collection of legit guns/gear found every type for trade no modded stuff, you should have seen the loot lol. I used to think I farmed a long time for loot he farmed for hundreds of hours, he even played with the Gearbox Devs they checked out his collection lol.

So there will be another epic collection of gear in the future, hopefully by then I will have 1 or 2 to add

So far from what I've read is right now the golden key only comes from the preorder codes(doesn't mean that's the only way).
So the major flaw is if you do not have internet you can not get it.

It was mostly a slight peck at Ireland for telling me about the golden key thing plus getting my hopes up about it also not telling me about the best gun in the game.

@ire actually that wasn't in my mind when I posted because I thought that was obvious.
You also disgrace me. It was 655 hours of crawmerax farming 288 hours of armory runs, close to 1000 for new haven before the nerf.

But knoxx's armory wasn't even close to the size of mine. Ireland can confirm. I once got bored switched between toons for an hour droping around 30000 guns. All gearbox.

And i never traded. I gave everything away for free.

You also said that oranges were required for crawmy and I proved you wrong by doing a speed run with a starter gun.
