Unbelievable. No sooner had I mentioned that the lame invisible steering racer will get a sequel, news comes from PlayXBLA that Joyride Turbo will not feature Kinect. So no more invisible steering....

 

Of course the more cynical people - like myself - will say Kinect killed the original game anyway. What started as a free XBLA title then transformed to terrible title with terrible controls, you can't help thinking some developers are finally seeing that Kinect just doesn't work with some games. Dancing games maybe, car racing no. 

 

Joy Ride Turbo is due in 2012
