Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is very time consuming, not hard, just time consuming. You will have to play through the game at least 3 times to collect everything, at the most 4 times. Once for Story, once Free Play to collect Mini-Kits and once to do Challenge Mode to collect the Blue Mini-Kits. After that, again to do the 'Super Story' mode. the Bounty Hunter missions will take you through some of the chapters but not all, you may have to repeat some levels to collect studs to max out the counter for a Achievement, but after you have got the multiplier unlocks this will be easier.
A bit more information, 'Challenge Mode' is where you go back through each Chapter to collect 10 Blue Mini-Kits, you do not have to collect studs but you still have to contend with enemies. The catch, you have a 10 minute time limit, the faster you finish, the bigger bonus in studs you get at the end. Lastly, Note: do not go looking in the same place and the normal Mini-Kits, they are usually in a different spot, could be the same room, but different spot. 'Super Story Mode' is available after you have completed all Chapters in an Episode, you then have the opportunity to play through the entire Episode in sequence with 1 hour (60 minutes) on the clock and a target off 100,000 studs to collect. Again, the faster you finish, reach your target, the bigger bonus in studs you get at the end. Note: extras are not available! So this breaks down to 6 Chapters per Episode, so 10 minutes each with a target of about 16,700 studs for each one. You can Pause the game if needed, but not exit!
First off all, do not worry too much about trying to get all Mini-Kits on a level, you can go back through on Free Play and get them, also, do not worry too much about filling the True Jedi Meter either, unlike the other Lego games, you can do this on Free Play too, and another thing about Free Play, do not worry about doing Free Play until you have completed Chapter 5 (Retake Theed Palace) of Episode 1. This way you will have a better selection of characters to use in Free Play and are able to get all Mini-Kits, this way I had all the characters I need to get all Mini-Kits from Chapter 1 (Negotiations), complete the Challenge Mode to get all Blue Mini-Kits, it was 100% finished.
After this, I went and did Chapter 1 (Bounty Hunter Pursuit) of Episode 2 so I could get the Red Brick, this is the Stud Magnet extra, costs 100,000 but helps a lot for collecting studs early on in the game. The first Multiplier, which is 2x is not available to get until you have played Chapter 6 (Rebel Attack) of Episode 4, yep, long way off at this point. If you keep playing through Episode 2 and finish Chapter 3 (Droid Factory), you can get another helpful Red Brick which is Character Studs, defeated enemies will drop studs, these 2 combined make True Jedi that little easier.
I continued through the Story, collecting studs and working towards the multipliers, once I got them I purchased and enabled, continued through the Story to unlock characters and Achievements along the way. Once completed the Story, I had enough studs to purchase the 10x multiplier and all the characters, at this point I went back through and got the 6x and 8x multipliers. With these in hand, I started working my way back through to collect all the remaining Canisters and Red Bricks.

Finish Episode VI in story mode
These are simple, all you have to do is finish all Chapters in each Episode in Story Mode and these will unlock.
Bar Room Brawl - 20 points
Start a Cantina Fight with 50 casualties
The first one you can get, while in the Mos Eisley Cantina, just start a fight and keep going until 50 have been died.
Crowd Pleaser - 20 points
Break Jar Jar 20 times
Once you have gone through the story past Chapter 2 (Invasion of Naboo) of Episode 1, Jar Jar Binks is available, enter Free Play mode, kill him 20 times, start to practise your unblockable attacks for the next Achievement.
Lightsaber Master - 20 points
Perform 20 unblockable combo attacks
While doing the previous Achievement, an 'unblockable attack' is done by pressing X in time with your swings to chain an attack, so press X once, just as the swing is about to finish press X again, just as that swing is about to finish press X again.
There is a rhythm, after a while you will get it, just keep performing these on Jar Jar until the Achievement unlocks. I unlocked it when I had killed Jar Jar about 10 more times after the previous Achievement unlocked.
Droid Slayer - 20 points
Destory 300 droids
You will get this easily while playing through Episode 1, I got it while doing Chapter 5 (Retake Theed Palace) in Story Mode.
Harmless? - 20 points
Disable 5 Droidikas with R2D2
Easy to get this while doing Chapter 5 (Retake Theed Palace) of Episode 1, in the halls of the Palace, you will be attacked by 2 Droidikas, switch to R2-D2 and press X next to them to disable. After a short time them will reactivate, repeat, then repeat again for this to unlock.
Lightsaber Defender - 20 points
Perform 200 perfect lightsaber deflections
You will probably get this one also while doing Chapter 5 (Retake Theed Palace) of Episode 1. I got it towards the end of the level. Perfect deflection is when the laser bullet is 'deflected' back at the shooter, press X just before the laser bullet hits you.
Arcade Master - 20 points
Get 100 points in Arcade Mode
Very easy this, have a second controller join in the game, go into Arcade, set the Target to Off and I used Senate, now take control off the second controller and have the character jump over the edge towards the screen, instant death, you get a point, repeat 100 times to unlock this Achievement.
Slam Dunk - 20 points
Destroy 5 people with one attack (Jedi super slam)
Just because it says "people" do not be fooled, can be droids also, I got this in Chapter 2 (Invasion of Naboo) of Episode 1, when you come to the droid transport ship blocking your path, just to the left of this 5 droids will come out of the trees to play. As soon as they come out of the trees double jump and press X to do a Jedi Super Slam with your light saber in the middle of them and this will unlock.
Dodger - 20 points
Perform 200 blaster character dodges
Easy, purchase Indiana Jones early on, he has a dodge move, start up Chapter 1 (Negotiations) of Episode 1, go through the chapter until the last area, kill all the droids in the area but leave the 2 Droidikas that defend the "force field" to the last small section, now move close enough to one so it will start shooting at you. I found that I had to shoot it first before it would start shooting, but once it does, just keep pressing X to dodge the shots.
Fire in the hole! - 20 points
Destroy 10 characters with one thermal detonator
This can be done in a few Chapters, I found it easier in Chapter 6 (Darth Maul) of Episode 1 in the third area, when you jump into the middle platform, you have 2 Commander Droids on either side of you calling in more Droids, run around for a while and try to get them into a group, then throw a detonator at them.
If you are having problems, like I did, there are 2 power ups near you on the smaller platforms, ride the beams up and grab one, then jump down into the group and throw a detonator.
Let the Wookiee win - 20 points
Pull 25 arms off other characters
First chance to get this is in Chapter 4 (Defence of Kashyyyk) of Episode 3 when you get Chewbacca for the first time, I got this in area 2, there are lots and lots of Clones running around. The thing is that you will probably die a few times trying, but with Stud Magnet and Character Stud Extras enabled you will still get True Jedi though.
Cash In - 20 points
Sell your landspeeder to the Jawas
Can be easily missed this if your not careful, while doing Chapter 3 (Mos Eisley Spaceport) of Episode 4, when you start you will notice your landspeeder near you, complete the area as normal, when C-3PO opens the door to the near area, notice on your right there is a blocked (double-points) area.
Use the AT-ST Walker you build to destroy the gates, go back into the first area and get your landspeeder, follow the road around to the right past the billboard, continue into the 'driveway' in front. You may have to go right a little, you will know when as a little cutscene happens and a Jawa comes walking over and gives you a heap of studs.
LEGO build-master - 20 points
Make 100 Build-its throughout the game
You will probably get this around halfway through Chapter 3 (Mos Eisley Spaceport) of Episode 4, that's when I got it, depends on how much you go through the previous Chapters again too.
Stormtrooper Slayer - 20 points
Destroy 300 stormtroopers
You will probably get this one while playing through Chapter 5 (Death Star Escape) of Episode 4 due to all the Stormtroopers you have to fight your way.
Fighter Ace - 20 points
Destroy 50 TIE fighters
This one might unlock during Chapter 6 (Rebel Attack) of Episode 6, just do not "rush" through the areas, TIE Fighters will be plentiful during the first 3 areas of this Chapter. If not, Chapter 3 (Falcon Flight) of Episode 5 you can unlock here.
Use the Force Luke - 20 points
Death Star Trench Run without Firing
Â
This is not real hard, but its not easy either with Darth Vader firing at you from behind and the turrets firing in front of you, just keep moving from side to side and dodge for about 15 - 20 seconds. Soon Han will help you and take out Vader and the Trench Run will be finished, leaving you to do the last little bit. Note: it will not matter if you die during the Run, I died once and still unlocked this, just do not shoot
Shoot First - 20 points
Shoot First
You will have to wait until after Episode 4 to do this, to have Han and Greedo available to buy, then the easiest way is to have a second controller join in, go to Two Player Arcade, one selects a version off Han (or Indiana will work also), the other selects Greedo and start. This will unlock once you have killed Greedo once.
Yee Haw - 20 points
Ride all mounts types & ride-ons
If you have been riding all types of 'ride-on' vehicles through the game, you might get this unlocked as you are doing Chapter 1 (Jabba's Palace) of Episode 6, see the 'spider' looking things walking around, you can ride them, jump on one. If you have done Lego City, New Town bonus levels which have just about all 'ride-on' types in the one place, except this 'spider' looking thing.
Follower of Fashion - 20 points
Wear Every Hat
Same deal, if you have been wearing all the different 'hats' throughout the game, you will probably get this just after or before the previous Achievement, Chapter 1 (Jabba's Palace) of Episode 6 when Leia uses the helmet dispenser and wears her 'Boush Helmet' to progress through the Chapter.
Cloud Cover - 20 points
Finish Cloud City still wearing a Helmet
You can one get this in Chapter 5 (Cloud City Trap) of Episode 5. The easiest way, start this level in Free Play, select Luke Skywalker (Bespin) and the game will select others, you will start with R2 also. Press Y to switch between and work your way through the Chapter as you did in Story, DO NOT SWAP CHARACTERS USING RB/LB/RT/LT BUTTONS! I found if I did this the Achievement never unlocked. When you come to the first helmet dispenser use it on Luke, now Save & Exit, it will unlock.
Disco King - 20 points
Set off all three Discos
There are 3 Disco's throughout the game, they can be found as follows:
1. Located in the Episode 2 Room of the Cantina, use the force to put it in place and start.
2. In Chapter 2 (Discovery on Kamino) of Episode 2, you have to come back with an Imperial Character (Stormtrooper, Clone) and access the door across the hall from Jango's room.
3. In Chapter 2 (The Great Pit of Carkoon) of Episode 6, you cannot miss this one, its part of the Story, you have to do this one to progress through from the 3rd area.
Collector - 60 points
Unlock all characters
As you play through the Story, more characters will be available to buy in the Cantina, in all you will probably need around 5,500,000 studs to buy all characters when they are available. To get Indiana Jones, watch the Lego Indiana Jones trailer in the bonuses section of the Cantina, you can then buy him for 50,000 studs.
This is required for 100% complete Achievement.
Secret Master - 60 points
Collect all available Red Bricks
There are 36 Red Bricks in all, 1 in each Chapter, when you collect one an Extra will become available to buy in the Cantina, some can be collected during Story Mode, but most have to be collected during Free Play as they require a certain character to get them, like getting access to a Stormtrooper area.
This is required for 100% complete Achievement
Mini Mayhem - 60 points
Collect all mini-kits
There are 360 Canisters in all through the game, 10 in each Chapter, some can be collected through the story but for the most part you will be going back through each Chapter in Free Play to collect them. I have heard people say that the game will select characters you will need when you start Free Play, but this is not always the case, I have been caught out a few times not having a needed character, like a 'high-jumper' to collect a certain canister.
This is required for 100% complete Achievement.
Gopher - 20 points
Max out the stud counter
You will probably get this one while you are collecting the rest of the Canisters and Red Bricks in Free Play mode, try to get the score multipliers as soon as possible and this will unlock quicker then you think. Where they are:
The 2x Multiplier is in Chapter 6 (Rebel Attack) of Episode 4, in a small alcove back right corner of the final area. You may die getting it as it is a 'dead end' you have to try and turn around and get back out.
The 4x Multiplier is in Chapter 3 (Falcon Flight) of Episode 5, at the very beginning you are against 4 Star Destroyers, it is behind the bridge off the one top right corner (if in a square formation). If you come from the back you should see it.
The 6x Multiplier is in Chapter 5 (Cloud City Trap) of Episode 5, at the very beginning behind 2 Stormtroopers, you need a Bounty Hunter as a Thermal Detonator is needed to blow the gate protecting it.
The 8x Multiplier is in Chapter 3 (Speeder Showdown) of Episode 6, after you have destroyed the force field protecting the 'Landing Platform' you may see it, push the block against the left support, crawl through the get it.
The 10x Multiplier is in Chapter 5 (Jedi Destiny) of Episode 6, after you have bashed the Emperor enough so he jumps away, there are 4 red lights on each side of the throne, switch to Vader and force them on, they ALL HAVE TO BE ON AT THE SAME TIME. Keep going back and forth until you get them, its tricky to get, but when done the brick will appear on the throne.
The ones marked in Green can be collected during the Story Mode.
Going for gold - 60 points
Collect all available Gold Bricks
As you complete certain things throguh the game you get a Gold Brick, complete a story chapter, collect all mini-kits in a chapter, fill the True Jedi meter, Character Bonus and Mini-Kit Bonus Missions (EASIER), complete the 6 bonus missions (Pod Race (Original), Anakin's Flight, Gunship Cavalry (Original), A New Hope, LEGO City and New Town), Bounty Hunter Missions and purchased from the Cantina. In all, there are 160 to get, this equally the longest Achievement to get along with the 100% Achievement.
This is required for 100% complete Achievement.
Edit: I discovered that you do not HAVE to do the Super Story Mission, you can do the other 2 easier ones.
100% - 100 points
Complete the game to 100%
This will be the last Achievement you will unlock, what you need:
Collect all 160 gold bricks, including buy all of the Gold Bricks from the Cantina.
Collect all 360 mini-kits.
Collect all 36 red bricks.
Collect all 360 blue mini-kits.
Buy all of the characters.
Buy all of the extras (Red Bricks).
Finish all the Super Story missions for each Episode.
Undecided - 10 points

Who needs Obi-Wan? - 10 points
Revenge: Destroy Darth Maul with Qui-Gon
See Strike me down Achievement.
Strike me down - 10 points
Revenge: Destroy Darth Vader with Obi-Wan
These explain themselves really, just use one character to kill the other, once you have purchased the needed characters from the Cantina, go into Free Play on any level, does not matter which, but look which character the 2nd player is, switch characters if needed and kill. Sometimes you can do 2 (or more) off these at once to save yourself exiting the level and restarting again. I got the Who needs Obi-Wan? early, you need a Sith to get some of the Mini-Kits in Chapter 5 (Retake Theed Palace) of Episode 1, Darth Maul is the first Sith you can buy, I was Qui-Gon, so simple.
Or you could do these in Two Player Arcade Mode also with a second controller, just pick the 2 characters you need and start.
Online Player - 20 points
Play through an entire level online
Grab a friend and play a level (Chapter) in Co-Op, I think this has to be done via Xbox Live and not with 2 controllers on the same console, not sure. You can also join a game right near the end of a level (Chapter) and still get this.
Before I finish, a Tip on collecting Studs, 4 Billion (4,000,000,000) sounds a lot and I guess it is, but can be done pretty easy. Over the course of the game, you will find Chapters you like playing and do not mind repeating, take Chapter 1 (Negotiations) of Episode 1 for example, it can be done in around 5 minutes and with the Stud Magnet, Character Studs, 2x Multiplier and 4x Multiplier (that's 8X value) enabled I can get over 500,000 Studs. That is, using the Force on the Table and Chairs where you start, destroy the large breakable canisters in the corner, force the door, kill the droids, continue down the hall using the force on the 'levers' on the walls, kill more droids, destroy more large breakable canisters blocking the path. Use the C-3PO panel, force on the levers and build the other C-3PO panel, destroy more large breakable canisters in the corner, force on the vent and kill 2 droids. Collect all the Studs I can, break everything and build what I can, kill all droids, force the platform, jump over and step on the buttons to draw out more droids, finish collecting Studs then use the C-3PO panel and leave. With the 6X Multiplier enabled, that's 48X, the number of Studs is over 3,000,000 easily in about 5 minutes, could be higher if I went into some of the side rooms.
A few good ones are:
Chapter 6 (Darth Maul) of Episode 6, about halfway through, when you jump across platforms and Maul drops the last platform to him, there is a Commander Droid on each side of you calling in more droids, yep they just keep coming until you get bored and kill the Commanders.
Chapter 4 (Defence of Kashyyyk) of Episode 3, area 2 is packed with droids and clones, area 3 has Commanders calling in more droids until you kill them.
Chapter 5 (Cloud City Trap) of Episode 5, near the beginning when you build the gun to destroy the 'blue bars' blocking the doorway, there is a steady fall of Stormtroopers into the room with you.
EDIT :
I will add the note here too, I have discovered that you do not need to do the Super Story for a Gold Brick, this only counts towards 100% complete, each Episode has 20 Gold Bricks to get, collecting all 10 Mini-Kits in each Chapter, complete the Chapter in Story Mode and Filling the True Jedi Meter in each Chapter. That is 18/20, now in each Chapter room there is a 'Bonus Door' that has 3 bonus missions, Super Story, Character Bonus and Mini-Kit Bonus.
I explained the Super Story above, but the other 2 are similar to each other, Character Bonus puts you against the clock on a level, you have 5 minutes to collect 1,000,000 studs, like free play you get a choice of characters.
Mini-Kit Bonus is a vehicle type mission (like Gunship Cavalry) again you have 5 minutes to collect 1,000,000 studs with the choice of vehicles.
Tip: some of the Extras are disabled, but I used Deflect Bolts and Regenerate Hearts which gave me a big advantage doing these! Use Jango or Boba Fett, this way you have a jet pack to keep on the move, especially in the last few levels when you come against the Emperor's Guards, you can jet pack to another platform where they cannot get you.
