It is Lara Croft but not a Tomb Raider as we know it. Developers Crystal Dynamics have announced a new Lara Croft game, dropping the Tomb Raider from the title as the game has gone through some super dramatic changes. Lara Croft Guardian of Light will be co-op....

 

How is a good question to ask right now. She gets a new co-op partner called Toto sorry Totec and it is not a dog if you were thinking what I was thinking. He is a Mayan tribesman with a spear. No more third-person-behind-the-camera jiggery as it will now feature an isometric view, which is your old school 3D side scroller look. It will also only be download-able.

The last couple of Tomb Raiders have been aging quickly so this is probably what the series might need to reactivate the interest. There's no word from Eidos or Crystal Dynamics if there will be another traditional Tomb Raider either. You can see more screens here at Gamespot who bagged the first look. What do you think?
