Before starting Xbox Live rank wins, make sure you start a career, otherwise the game will not record your win stats.

 

You cannot invite a friend to play, however the lobby isn't all that busy. To make it even easier, set up a match with a high round count and at an odd venue and search both at the same time. If another player joins, they will eventually leave if you do nothing or re-start your search or re-host. This is a little time consuming, but if you play at odd hours, chances are you will find your friend easier.

 

You do need to fight just take in turns throwing in the towel as the wins do not have to be done consecutively.
