Junior - 50 points
Complete Year One Story Levels
Play through 6 levels in yr 1 in story mode and this achievement will unlock.
Senior - 50 points
Complete Year Two Story Levels
Play through 6 levels in yr 2 in story mode and this achievement will unlock.
Prefect - 50 points
Complete Year Three Story Levels
Play through 6 levels in yr 3 in story mode and this achievement will unlock.
Head Boy - 50 points
Complete Year Four Story Levels
Play through 6 levels in yr 4 in story mode and this achievement will unlock.
Teacher's pet - 70 points
Complete All Story Lessons (Single Player Only)
During the story mode you will have to complete spell lessons to progress, once you have completed these, this achievement will unlock. These are really easy and it will tell you onscreen what you need to do.
Story Complete! - 70 points
Complete the Story Levels in all four years
When you have completed all 6 levels across the 4 year modes, you will unlock this achievement
Crest Collector - 30 points
Collect all of the house crests in Year 1 (Single Player Only)
See The Ultimate Collector.
Crest Fanatic - 30 points
Collect all of the house crests in Year 2 (Single Player Only)
See The Ultimate Collector.
Ultra Collector - 30 points
Collect all of the house crests in Year 3 (Single Player Only)

The Ultimate Collector - 30 points
Collect all of the house crests in Year 4 (Single Player Only)
As with all LEGO based games, you can only collect some of these during main story mode playthrough, and need to complete the game a second time with special characters. In this case characters with Dark Magic to open special items which glow red. There are 4 corner pcs to each level, and 6 levels to each year, so in total 96 pcs to collect. This is made easier with the Crest Detector Enabled.
Power Up! - 45 points
Collect all of the Red Bricks (Single Player Only)
Throughout Hogwarts and Free Play you will need to collect the red blocks, which as with the crests, go towards your 100% completion. The real give away to finding these is the white owl sat on the red perch. If you come across one of these there is a block hiding or near by. Much easier with the red block detector enabled.
The Bonus Level is Yours - 70 points
Collect all of the Gold Bricks (Single Player Only)
You will need to collect 200 of these - you get these from learning spells - freeing the pupil's in peril and collecting them throughout Hogwarts etc. Gold block detector makes life more simple for these.
Student Rescue - 45 points
Rescue all students in peril (Single Player Only)
There are 50 of these to collect throughout Hogwarts and story mode. There are a few more difficult ones not because they are hard to collect, more so because they are easily missed. The picknick basket in Hagrad's (Ed note - did you mean Hagrid?) back garden is one in particular, just smash everything and anything and you will find them.
Stud Magnet - 30 points
Get True Wizard in every level (Single Player Only)
Really easy especially with stud multipliers enabled, just get True Wizard on all levels by collecting LEGO studs and this achievement is yours.
You're the Best - 70 points
Complete the game to 100% (Single Player Only)
You'll need to do and collect everything for this one, and this is the one which takes the time as with all LEGO games. Just collect everything, and do all the lessons, True Wizard and the bonus levels and this will unlock.
Dark Wizards - 10 points
Buy every version of Voldemort (Quirrell/Tom Riddle/Voldemort) (Single Player Only)
Professor Quirrel, Tom Riddle, Voldemort are needed for this. Collect the character tokens throughout the game and once you are able to collect these characters, this achievement will unlock. Voldermort unlocks after completing the final bonus level where you need to collect 1 million LEGO studs.
Quidditch Team - 10 points
Buy the entire Gryffindor Quidditch team from Book One (Single Player Only)
Oliver Wood, Angelina Johnson, Katie Bell, Alicia Spinnet, Fred Weasley, George Weasley, and Harry Potter are needed for this achievement to unlock, as with Dark Wizards collect the character tokens for this to unlock.
Back in Time - 10 points
Use the Time-Turner
Just use Hermione's special power by pressing B at one of these clocks. Time will change and the achievement will unlock.
Building Blocks - 30 points
Complete all the LEGO Builder tutorial levels (Single Player Only)
Just complete all the training sections and this will unlock.
Good Dog - 10 points
Defeat 20 enemies with Fang
Select Fang "The Dog" when you are near a Hornet's nest. Don't destroy the nest, and just use Fang to kill the Hornet 20 times.
Wonderful Weasleys - 10 points
Buy the entire Weasley family (Single Player Only)
You need Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, Arthur and Molly for this achievement, same process as Dark Wizards and Quidditch Team.
Quirrell Quandary - 15 points
Defeat Quirrell in the Quirrell boss fight, using Voldemort
You can only do this after completing the final bonus level and unlocking Voldermort. You need to select level 1- 6 and with Voldermort kill Quirrell the boss.
Multiplier - 10 points
Collect 10 million studs in one level (Single Player Only)
With the stud multiplier on this will be a cinch. Go to bonus level 1, collect the studs and this will unlock at 10 million studs.
Arachnophobic - 10 points
Defeat 20 spiders with Ron
During the boss fight in Year 2, don't kill the Aragog boss spider. Kill all of the Smaller spiders that spawn with Ron. When you have killed 20 this achievement will unlock.
Chilled out - 10 points
Freeze 20 characters using Glacius
You can either buy this spell during the story mode or unlock with cheat ERA9DR. Once you have obtained go back into the street and freeze 20 people for this achievement to unlock.
Boo! - 10 points
Scare 20 students using a ghost character
When you have obtained a ghost character (there are a few) just use the X button to scare 20 people for this achievement to unlock.
Animagus - 10 points
Unlock all Animagi (Single Player Only)
You need to collect the following characters for this to unlock, Rita Skeeter, Remus Lupin, Professor McGonagle, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black.
Defeating the Object - 15 points
Defeat the mountain troll, using Quirrell
When you have unlocked Quirrell, replay the level Out of the Dungeon and defeat the troll using Quirrel for this achievement to unlock.
Watch Out! - 15 points
Knock over ten characters using a ride-able object
The are a few places this can be done during story mode. Jump on a ride me object and knock 10 people down for this achievement to unlock.
Solid Snape - 15 points
Hide in a barrel as Snape
Once you have unlocked professor Snape, find a barrel and hit B to jump inside to unlock this achievement.
Role Reversal - 15 points
Defeat Harry (as Voldemort), in the Graveyard
With Lord Voldemort use "Avada Kedavra" which is the green one with the Skull to defeat Harry, anywhere during year 4 level 6. Lord Voldemort will unlock after collecting all of the 200 gold bricks. When you have killed Harry this achievement will unlock.
Quiet Please! - 15 points
Turn the sound and music down to 0 in the options menu whilst in the library
When in the library enter the menu and set the music volume to 0 for this achievement to unlock.
Muggle Trouble - 15 points
Defeat 10 enemies with a Muggle character
With a Muggle character (someone that can only hit, and has no magic abilities) kill 10 enemies. I did this on the The Forbidden Forest level and killed the bees. Once you have killed 10 this achievement will unlock.
Lumos Solem - 15 points
Destroy 50 Devil's Snare plants
You will probably kill some of these plants during the story mode, but if not, repeat year 1 level 6 there are 5 on this level. Once you have killed 50 this achievement will unlock.
Quick Quidditch - 15 points
Complete the Quidditch level within five minutes
During Year 1 level 3 you have to complete this in under 5 mins, you`ll probably do this during free play. Just run through this level as quick as you can to complete in under 5 mins to unlock this achievement.
Ghostly Treasure - 15 points
Collect 500 ghost studs
Whilst in Hogwarts follow the ghost character which leaves behind the ghost studs and collect them, when you have collected 500 studs this achievement will unlock.
