One general tip - DO EVERYTHING before advancing. Trick or treat at every house, collect everything, do every quest in an area, this will ensure you will get every achievement in one playthrough.

 

 

 

 

ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE

 

Battle Buds - 5 points

Defeated a monster in combat with a friend by your side

 

Once Everett joins your party, just defeat your first enemy.

 

 

Downsized! - 15 points

Defeated BoJonn in battle

 

This is for defeating the first mini-boss, which will happen at the end of the graveyard section, so after you fully complete the first town, the graveyard is next.

 

Do the Monster Bash - 10 points

Got the jump on 10 monsters

 

This is for meleeing 10 enemies in the back before they see you, to initiate battle. Not too hard, I got this in the Mall I believe.

 

 

Leave some for the rest of us! - 15 points

Collected a total of over 4,000 candies

 

This is to have over 4,000 total candies. Just another one that will come with doing the story. I also got this in the mall I think, and it refers to EXP candy, not the individual ones you pick up as currency.

 

 

Dressed to Quest - 5 points

Acquired 5 Costumes

 

Acquire 5 costumes, this is also just something that will happen. The only tip I have is to make sure you explore every nook and cranny. And, you can check the journal to see the location of the costume and its pieces as well to help you.

 

Make it Work - 10 points

Won the Autumn Haven Mall Costume Contest

This is for winning the costume contest in the mall. It is not immediately available when you reach this section of the mall, but eventually you'll see the stage and the woman there are different. Then, talk to three people around (i think 2 are on the first floor and 1 on the second) for their favorite types of costumes. They clues are obvious, but the three costumes your party needs to be wearing to enter and win are: Knight, Robot and Statue of Liberty.

 

 

Dozer Dodger - 15 points

Defeated Metxel in battle

 

This is for beating Mextel in battle. He'll be in a bulldozer after you take out his guards. Defeat this form and then you just have to beat him normally. Not hard, just always remember to use your abilities when able.

 

 

Chompin' Champ - 15 points

Won all prizes in Bobbing for Apples

 

There are three different Bob for Apple locations throughout the game. One is in the park in the initial neighborhood, one in the mall, and the last one is in the fall valley toward the end. There are three stages to each game, and you have to do each to fully complete it. Green apples are worth 2, and red are worth 1, so just go for green and ignore everything else.

All Decked Out - 15 points

Collected all Creepy Treat Cards

 

Collect all of the treat cards. These are collected for defeating monsters and for trading for certain ones with specific children in each area. It is nice though because the first 2 full pages will be completed by the time you finish the first are, 3-4 in the mall, and 5-6 in the fall valley area. Just be sure you have them all before you move on to the next area.

 

 

The Last Gourdian - 10 points

Acquired the Pumpkin Costume

 

This is for completing the Pumpkin costume. You get this costume started in the graveyard, then the others are: one is given to you by a scarecrow in the mall near the contest, and the last is from a scarecrow after the carnival in the valley.

 

 

Master of Disguise - 10 points

Used every Costume Ability in battle

 

This is for using the special ability in battle for each of the 10 costumes. A special is done after two normal attacks, you can then choose your Y attack. Perform that attack with each costume and you got it.

 

 

 

Binary Bouncer - 10 points

Used the Robot Costume to Boost off of 15 different ramps

 

This is for using the boost ability of the robot 15 times. When you are walking around most costumes have a standard ability, and the robot lets you move really fast. It also allows you to go off ramps and is the only way you can do so. If you explore every area, you will have at least 15 unique ramps by the end of the game. You can't just go off one 15 times.

 

 

They'll be worth a lot someday - 15 points

Collected all Battle Stamps

 

Collect all battle stamps. These are purchased from one person in each area who has a collection, or are awards for beating bosses. The somewhat hard part with these is some are only available for purchase after doing certain missions in each area. So, when you are about to leave an area, be sure to go back to the card person one last time to check for new ones. The final stamp is a prize for beating the final boss, Dorsilla. Just be diligent and it's not an issue.

 

 

Mask-O'-Raider - 25 points

Completed all Quests in the game

 

Complete all quests. Like most things in the game, just make sure you do everything, and you can see a full list in your journal to make sure. The final quest is the final boss, so this is another you'll get at the end.

 

 

Sweet Justice - 25 points

Finished the game!

 

This is the story achievement for beating Dorsilla. Just use your best team, and be sure to have the best stamps equipped, especially the highest attack card, healing cards and extra health cards.

 

 

DLC Achievements - Grubbins on Ice -

 

Short Stack - 10 points

Find the mysterious visitor in the cliffs of Repugia

 

This is story related and will be the first DLC achievement you get.

 

 

Playin' Hooky - 5 points

Use the Pirate hook on 5 unique ziplines

 

Use 5 different ziplines with the Pirate costume ability. You will get this in the first town, just make sure you go everywhere.

 

 

Jeepers Peepers - 5 points

Acquire the Eyeball costume

 

This is just for completing the Eyeball costume. Not hard, just consult your journal and fully explore the first area.

 

 

Revolutionary Hero - 15 points

Complete all quests in Repugia

 

Finish all DLC quests. Again, not hard, just be thorough and have fun!

 

 

Birdbrain Beatdown - 15 points

Defeat Araxia in battle

 

Defeat the final boss, Araxia. Again, just use your best team, the best cards, and keep attacking!
