Are you sick of hearing about Kinect? Good, because this E3 2011 Games Round Up is in a Kinect Free Zone. Take the stupid camera and shove it in a broom closet or under the bed,  as we look at the big games - that require controllers - from E3. Remember when it comes to games, size matters...

CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE 3

Did we mention size? When Microsoft started their press conference, they decided to start it with Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3. I personally think this game needs more money pumped into advertising because it is largely unknown. Maybe a few posters at my local book club might help sales.

GEARS OF WAR 3

It was great to see Gears 3 make an appearance at E3 and frustrating at the same time, because we should be playing this NOW. The game was originally slated for release on April 1. Instead we have to watch Cliffy B and Ice-T play in the video below. Not fair you say, but when is life fair when comes to games you can watch but not touch?

HALO 4

I am glad we never finished the fight as it looks like it will go on for a few more years. Not only do we see Halo 4, but there will be a Halo 5 and Halo 6 as Microsoft announced that this will be trilogy. By the time Halo 19 comes out, we will run out of aliens to fight and will be fighting the Borg with full Kinect.

SAINTS ROW : THE THIRD

You can't go wrong with open world gang warfare. Unless of course you are Crackdown 2.  Enuff said.

HALO : COMBAT EVOLVED ANNIVERSARY

Another Halo game BUT we finally get the chance to earn achievements for the first re-make and arguably one of the finest Halo's. Unfortunately it will not support multiplayer - outside of co-op - but the maps will be playable in Halo: Reach engine.

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY

The big reveal of E3 for Batman Arkham City was a playable Catwoman. I had a girlfriend once who refused to dress up as Catwoman and say the words "I have been a bad kitty". So this would be the next best thing. I think.

BIOSHOCK INFINITE

Finally we see a decent trailer for Bioshock Infinite and it sure does make you dizzy. If you suffer vertigo, watch the trailer below with caution, especially the end sequence. All I can say Bioshock is just getting more creepier and weird.

There are of course more games we will be showcasing from E3 in the next week, including some interesting Arcade and Windows 7 games. If you want,  you can take that Kinect camera out of the broom closet now.
