ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE

Equipment Specialist - 20 points

Used all Gadgets at least once in single player Story

 

You have to use C4, breaching charge, fragmentation grenade, smoke grenade, flash bang, and incendiary grenade to get this. On the second level you start out with an ammo box right in front of you. Go ahead and use whatever two gadgets you already have. You only have to use one of each. After you have done that go to the ammo crate and choose two more gadgets. Rinse and repeat until the achievement pops.

 

 

Tough Hombre - 30 points

Completed Border Town in single player Story Mode

 

This is a story related achievement and cannot be missed.

 

 

Street Cleaner - 30 points

Completed Downtown Vegas in single player Story Mode

 

This is a story related achievement and cannot be missed.

 

 

High Roller - 30 points

Completed Calypso Casino in single player Story Mode

 

This is a story related achievement and cannot be missed.

 

 

High Climber - 30 points

Completed Vertigo Spire in single player Story Mode

 

This is a story related achievement and cannot be missed.

 

 

Hell Hound - 30 points

Completed Dante's Casino in single player Story Mode

Rainbow Six Legend - 100 points

Complete the single player Story Mode at Realistic difficulty

 

This is the second hardest achievement in the game. The main reason is because it has issues. When you start a campaign on Realistic it is most likely you won't finish it in one sitting. So when you are done you save and quit. The problem is when you load you game up and select "load last check point" the difficulty automatically reverts back to Normal. In order to keep playing where you left off you have to select the level you where on manually and then difficulty. Make sure you write down all of the levels and their sublevels. Check them off as you complete them.

 

If you have difficulty actually beating the game on Realistic then think about sending your team in rooms first or to flank enemy positions. Also using the shield can help out a lot also.

 

 

Coop Story Novice - 10 points

Complete a Cooperative Story mission with at least one other player

Vegas Champion - 50 points

Cooperatively complete the Story Mode

 

This is a Cooperative story related achievement. Beat the every mission of the game cooperatively.

 

 

Pistoleer - 25 points

Kill 150 terrorists using only a Pistol

 

When you start the campaign break out the pistol and keep popping Tangos until the achievement pops.

 

 

Executioner - 30 points

Kill 500 terrorists online or offline

 

This achievement will have popped before you finish both playthroughs.

 

 

Killer's Spree - 20 points

5 consecutive player kills without dying

Killer's Rampage - 30 points

10 consecutive player kills without dying

Sniper - 15 points

10 kills using a Sniper rifle in an online ranked match

 

Get 10 kills in one ranked game. This can be difficult if you aren't good at sniping. There is something you can do to help. Press RB and your equipment menu will display. Use the circle between the two goggles to aim your shots. I got this using the scout tactical sniper rifle but use whatever you are comfortable with.

 

 

Demolition Expert - 20 points

Kill 50 players using Explosives only

Marksman - 10 points

100 total player kills in any adversarial mode

 

Make a room, choose a small map, and set the time to the max. Invite a friend or if you have two or more Xbox 360s, have them join your room. Have your friend meet you in a central location and kill them or hunt down your other Xbox 360s. Kill them with explosives to work towards Demolition Expert above.

 

 

Lone Wolf - 15 points

Most kills in a ranked online Sharpshooter match

Team Champion - 15 points

Most kills in a winning online ranked match of Team Sharpshooter

Siege Specialist - 15 points

Leading contributor of kills for the Defenders in a winning Attack & Defend ranked match

Just keep playing ranked games until you come out on top or you can invite a friend to help out. Tell him/her not to shot you and then start mowing them down. Use explosives if you haven't earned Demolition Expert yet.

 

 

Special Operations - 50 points

Play all maps of every Adversarial game mode

 

The way I did this was make a list of every map and game type like I did below. If you notice there are numbers next to the game types. What you do is after you play a game write the number of the game type to the right of the map you played it on. Once you have 1-6 next to each map the achievement should have popped.

Recover the Intel in Attack & Defend within 2 minutes

Bomb Expert - 15 points

Defuse the bomb within 2 minutes in Attack & Defend

Hostage Rescue - 15 points

Rescue all hostages in an Attack & Defend mission in under 5 minutes

 

Make a room and invite a friend. Tell him/her not to kill you and this will be a breeze.

 

 

Survivor - 15 points

Be the only remaining player in a ranked online match of Survival

 

Setup a match and invite a friend. Once the match starts have them kill themselves or hunt them down and kill them. If you don't have a friend to do this with you will need to camp until one player is left. Use a GPS if possible and get the kill or just camp until they run out in front of you and put one in their head.

 

 

Veteran Hunter - 50 points

Complete all maps of splitscreen Terrorist Hunt on Normal difficulty

Elite Hunter - 75 points

Complete all maps in splitscreen T-Hunt at Realistic difficulty

 

This actual needs to be completed in single player the splitscreen is actually a typo error. I suggest making a list of the maps and crossing them out as you beat them. Using the shield and smoke will help out a lot. Once you obtain this achievement Veteran Hunter will pop also as they are stackable.

 

 

Coop Hunt Novice - 10 points

Complete a Cooperative T-Hunt mission with at least one other player

Tour of Duty - 60 points

Cooperatively complete all Terrorist Hunt missions

 

The difficulty doesn't matter on this one. If you're having problems getting this one, try lowering the difficulty. Also the more players you have helping you the easier it gets. I suggest making a list of the maps (like in Special Operations above) and crossing them out as you beat them. Using the shield and smoke will help out a lot.

 

Basic Training - 5 points

Achieve the rank of Private 1st Class

I found that playing T-hunt on Presidio on Veteran was the easiest and quickest way to make Elite. My technique was that once the game started go to the right and work your way to the back of the building. Hide in between the boxes and shoot the terrorists as they come out. If you have 1-3 players helping you this is much easier.

 

 

True Identity - 30 points

Used the Xbox Live Vision to create a character with your appearance

 

The Xbox live vision camera is required for this. During character selection you will what the chance to customize your appearance. One of the selections is the vision camera. You can change you appearance at any time through the options menu.

 

 

Master of Ceremonies - 15 points

Host a 16-player match

 

By far the hardest achievement in the game. You actually need yourself and 16 other player for a total of 17 players. You have to host a room and select dedicated server and 16 players. Once the room is full launch it and the achievement pops as soon as the match starts. There is no need to finish the match unless you need the experience. The easiest way to get this is by setting up a boosting event through the forums and placing the event on the calendar. Look through the boosting forum and find the Master of Ceremonies thread.
