In a dramatic turn of events and as first posted in our forums (Thanks Eddie) Microsoft has decided to drop all DRM control surrounding the controversial second hand games restrictions.

It has been widely reported for many months by rumour that Microsoft were planning to restrict the ability to trade second hand games. This was explained away, "The Xbox One will play as the Xbox 360 plays now".. Really !!

Well I don't know about you guys, but I have never had to connect my Xbox 360 to the internet before I can play any Retail or previously downloaded XBLA title.

I have also had the ability to purchase second hand titles, albeit some of these were online code controlled from some greedy publishers ! Even the military have been pulled into the argument, especially in relation to the Xbox One needing to be connected at least once every 24hrs otherwise gameplay would not function.

Microsoft have made some holly grail mistakes this time around, and part of me thinks that the 3 console vendors truly believe that gamers are stupid and they "say" and we "do", and not one of them has learned a thing over the last few years with more and more people switching to mobile gaming.

Message to "Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo" your not too big, gamers put you where you are today, do not get over confident otherwise you will find yourself out on the scrap pile.

So to conclude the good news all DRM restrictions on "Once every 24hrs and second games control" has now been fully confirmed as dropped !!
